Make Do and Mend with Miracle

October 16 2018

Miracle Theatre is turning the clock back to 1943, wartime Britain this December with a unique & hilarious version of the classic tale Aladdin. Inspired by the era, we have gathered some ideas for you to feel festive 1940’s style by making your own hand-crafted paper decorations. For all details on Aladdin click HERE

We’ve picked our three favourite plastic-free recycle friendly decorations that you can make at home this Christmas. Some of them are super easy and can be made by the whole family, whilst others are a little bit more fiddley if you’re looking for a challenge!

  1. Paper Chains

These are really simple to assemble and can be made out of whatever you have in the house! To download a how to guide, click HERE

2. Rosettes

Again, these can be made out of any paper you have lying around the house and are nice and easy for children, but might need a bit of parental assistance to assemble. Click HERE to download a guide.

3. Baubles

This is the most difficult of our three decoration makes but is worth it as it’s a really versatile decoration you can either hang around the house, or on your Christmas tree. Download the guide HERE, plus we recommend you also download a template to help you HERE.
