A Fond Farewell to Redruth HQ & Passing on the Props!

This July, we opened our doors in Redruth for a very special event – a chance for Friends of Miracle, local schools, amateur dramatics groups, and members of the public to rummage through our much-loved props, costumes, and curious bits-and-bobs as we prepared for our move to Jubilee Wharf, Penryn.

From the moment the doors opened, a wonderful mix of visitors arrived – from drama groups and school staff to artists and costume magpies – all on the lookout for theatrical treasures ready for their next adventure.

It was genuinely heart-warming to see so many familiar faces excitedly discovering items with their own Miracle stories. Whether heading to a stage, classroom, studio, or dressing-up box, each piece is now off to begin a new chapter.

After decades of touring, creating, and (let’s be honest) accumulating all sorts of magical miscellanea, it felt like the right moment to share the love and the clutter! We’re so grateful to the community that has supported us over the years, and to everyone who came along to help lighten the load.

The move itself also coincided with our work experience week! We were joined by a brilliant group of students from Redruth and Pool Academy, who rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. They helped sort, organise, and prepare the warehouse for the arrival of our rummagers, and even created a fantastic reel for Instagram to capture the day.

As we settle into our new home in Penryn, we carry with us not only the essentials (and a few irresistible oddities!) but also a renewed sense of gratitude for the creativity and generosity of the Miracle community.

Thank you to everyone who helped us say goodbye in such a joyful and meaningful way.
