The Secret Squirrel Society for the Appreciation of Acorns (SSSAA)

Our nuttiest mission yet! The Secret Squirrel Society is a playful, nature-loving movement dedicated to restoring and protecting our native oak trees. Members—both young and young-at-heart—are encouraged to become “oak activists” by planting and caring for oak saplings and acorns, helping to grow a future Oaktopia where mighty oaks thrive for generations.

Through community events, giveaways, and hands-on planting guides, the SSSAA spreads joy, knowledge, and practical skills for protecting our natural environment—one acorn at a time. Keep an eye out for upcoming Oak Action days and other squirrel-approved activities, and discover how to plant and care for your acorns and saplings.

The Quizzards – A Pub Quiz Extravaganza

The Quizzards take the humble pub quiz and give it a magical makeover! Combining quick thinking, quirky challenges, and a sprinkling of mythical mischief, this isn’t your average night of trivia. Expect classic rounds, local knowledge, creative challenges (including the infamous Stop, Drop & Draw), and plenty of surprises along the way.

Hosted by the charismatic duo Kyla and Hannah, The Quizzards are all about laughter, friendly competition, and bringing people together. Whether you’re a trivia buff or just in it for the fun, all levels of brilliance are welcome!

Small Miracles – Inspiring Young People Through Theatre

Small Miracles is Miracle Theatre’s youth engagement programme, designed to open the world of live performance to young people across Cornwall. Through workshops in schools and the community, free or discounted tickets, an open-access youth theatre in the Falmouth/Penryn area, and mentored work experience opportunities, Small Miracles gives young people the chance to learn, participate, and grow in confidence.

Whether they’re stepping on stage, learning behind-the-scenes skills, or experiencing live theatre for the first time, Small Miracles creates opportunities that can spark a lifelong love for the arts.
