Tom studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and now enjoys a varied career from singing numerous operatic roles in companies such as Scottish Opera and The Royal Opera House, to playing Monsieur Andre in Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End, Captain Corcoran in HMS Pinafore with D’Oyly Carte Opera at the Savoy Theatre (a role he has recorded on CD and performed in the Shubert Theatre in Connetecut USA).

He recently played Dancairo in Carmen at the Royal Albert Hall and Zuniga(Carmen) with Scottish Opera and recorded a cycle of Walt Whitman songs at the Wigmore Hall. Tom has taken part in several TV and radio broadcasts and is a regular guest on Friday Night is Music Night.
