Miracle Theatre will be holding a workshop audition on Thursday 19th Feb 2pm – 5pm at our rehearsal space at Krowji, the Old Grammar School, West Park, Redruth TR15 3AJ.
This is a general audition with a view to casting future projects but we are also looking for a male performer to join our existing ensemble for ‘The Magnificent Three’, touring the Southwest throughout the summer months of 2015.
This is a new open-air spaghetti western by Bill Scott with music and songs by Tom Adams.
There will be 62 performances at venues as diverse as the stunning Minack Theatre, a garden on the Scilly Isles and a disused quarry. The job will involve get-ins and get-outs and a lot of travelling and you will need to be available from the end of April through till the end of August (actual dates to be confirmed).
Miracle produces a rich mix of touring theatre, with a unique comic style, joyful use of language and an immediate visual appeal. If you are selected for the workshop and you haven’t seen a Miracle show, we would encourage you to see our current touring show ‘Dr. Livingstone, I Presume?’ on Wed 18th or Thurs 19th Feb at 7.30pm at Heartlands, just up the road from Miracle’s space. We feel it is important that, as part of the audition process, you get an idea of the company’s style.
We are particularly interested in actors who can drive (especially with a C1 license).
If you are interested in the summer show, or getting involved with Miracle, please send a C.V. and photo to [email protected] by 5pm Wed 11th February 2015. If you are selected for the workshop, you will be contacted by Sat 14th February.
