In Spring 2026 we ran a pilot of Miracle Young Company, funded by Cornwall Community Foundation. MYC was a weekly theatre group welcoming young people, aged 13-19.
At Miracle our aim is to nurture and inspire the next generation of local theatre makers. We’re not just with a focus on actors and performers, but also people with an interest in writing, set and costume or backstage! All the skills that go into a theatre performance.
Miracle Young Company gave young people a chance to learn about all aspects of theatre-making, allowing them to dip their toe into the wonderful world of Miracle Theatre!
The pilot was headed by Miracle regular Hannah Stephens, who watched her first Miracle show age 3, then began life at Miracle as a teenage work experience student age 15, leading to a performing apprenticeship age 22. She has since worked for the company as an actor, assistant director, artist and choreographer and is now Associate Director for Youth!
