It’s been a great week getting the team together for Sleeping Beauty R&D. The research and development phase is when the actors, directors and designers get together to explore the world of the show – characters, style, story. It’s such a stimulating and inspiring moment in the lifetime of a play. We started off at Miracle HQ in Redruth with a first read through (always exciting!) and a demonstration of our designer’s gorgeous and magical set model made by the wonderful Jude Munden (check out our insta to see the model). Our last day was spent at Princess Pavilion getting used to the space – so good to be back there. This year we’re also performing at St Ives Guildhall, which is a first for the Christmas show. See pics below for a behind the scenes update of the Sleeping Beauty R&D at the Pavilion.
