Join Miracle Theatre and Storylines: Exploring Faith, Place & Belonging in Cornwall

We are inviting young people aged 16-25 to work alongside Miracle Theatre and Storylines to listen, ask questions and explore faith, place and belonging in Cornwall today.

Participants will learn how to record conversations with care and consent, and find creative ways to share them through digital storytelling.

What makes a shared space feel welcoming?

Where do people find a sense of belonging?

Cornwall is home to people of different faiths and none, we’re interested in how traditions find a place in modern Cornwall, and how people make room for new ways of coming together. Together we’ll explore stories from Cornwall’s contemporary faith leaders and people who create opportunities for ritual and community gathering.

Supported by a Seed Corn Grant through The National Archives’ Spaces, Places and Belonging Community Hub, this is a project in its early stages. There’s room to try things, ask questions and discover where the conversations lead. The young people taking part will help shape what happens next.

If you’re aged 16–25 and would like to join us, apply by Monday 2 November 2026. We’d love to hear what you’re curious about.

Our first training day is Saturday 14 November 2026, with three to four sessions planned overall.
