Award success for Cornwall’s Miracle Theatre
Miracle Theatre has been selected to compete for two major tourism awards.
Hot from winning gold at the Cornwall Tourism Awards, Miracle have been put forward for the South West Tourism Awards and have been selected to compete in the national Visit England awards in May 2015.
The South West Tourism Excellence Awards, which will be held on 12th February 2015, celebrate excellence across the whole South West from the Isles of Scilly to Cirencester.
“Each year the judging gets harder as the region’s best vie to be the ‘best in class’. This year was no exception, with a record of 425 entries to consider, and our team of 35 judges undertaking a record 275 visits. 94 Finalists and 11 Highly Commended entries have been confirmed for this year’s South West Tourism Excellence Awards.
Miracle Theatre, who are currently receiving rave reviews for their tour of Dr Livingstone, I Presume, have made it to the final six competing in the tourism activity, sport and experience of the year category alongside entries from the Devon and Dorset Tourism Awards and direct entries from Wiltshire, Somerset, Bath, Bristol and Gloucestershire.
Miracle Theatre are also one of 90 finalists to have also been selected to represent ‘Team South West’ in the national VisitEngland awards in May 2015.
