Falmouth International Arts Festival 2026: A Four-Day Celebration of Live Performance

From 5th – 8th March 2026, Falmouth International Arts Festival (FIAfest) returns with four packed days of theatre, comedy, music and live performance. Produced by Impossible Producing, the much-loved festival has built a reputation for bringing bold international work to Falmouth while championing exciting artists from Cornwall and the South-West.

There’ll be theatre, comedy, music and live performance galore next week as Impossible Producing’s much-loved festival returns to Falmouth. 

Curated by Creative Producers Gabby Vautier and Charlie Bunker, the four-day programme blends award-winning international acts with the latest exciting new work from Cornish artists.

Internationally acclaimed company Figs in Wigs bring their wildly entertaining Astrology Bingo to Princess Pavilion on Sunday 8 March at 5pm. Expect cosmic chaos, sharp humour and audience participation. Buy tickets – Figs in Wigs: Astrology Bingo – The Princess Pavilion, Falmouth

Also on Sunday 8 March at 3.30pm at The Falmouth Hotel is Sad Bride by Charlotte Merriam — known to Miracle audiences from Love Riot, King Lear and Everyman — and Charlotte Vickers. This intimate, pay-what-you-can performance (£5, £10 or £15) promises wit, honesty and theatrical flair.

For those who love a behind-the-scenes insight into creative process, Coffee over Comedy on Saturday 7 March at 10.30am at The Falmouth Hotel features BAFTA award-winning screenwriter Helen Serafinowicz (Motherland, Amandaland and Nova Jones) in conversation with theatre and film director Lisa Forrell. Expect industry insights, storytelling craft and plenty of humour.

And on Sunday 8 March at 2pm, Kate Doran (better known as Flotsam Flo) delivers a talk on Resilience, Creativity and Rethinking Materials. A fascinating exploration of sustainable making and artistic reinvention, it’s a thoughtful addition to an already rich weekend.
