After an extraordinary week, we’re heading down to St Just in Penwith, West Cornwall as part of the Lafrowa Festival on Wednesday 11th July.
Situated right in the heart of the town is the magnificent Plen-An-Gwary. The Plen is arguably the oldest working theatre in Britain and is one of only two surviving outdoor amphitheatres in Cornwall, such an amazing feeling to think that the Miracle team are performing within a space used to tell stories for over 600 years old! Never fails to send chills up our spines!
After festival fun, the Miracle van will be heading up the A30 once more, stopping off for shows in Bodmin (Pencarrow House 12th) Dorchester, (Maumbury Rings 14th)and Frome ( Merlin Theatre 15th) before it pulls into and parks up in our Wesley Griffiths ( who plays Algernon ) home town of St Ives , where 'The Importance of Being Earnest’ will be performed in the grounds of the rather magnificent Tregenna Castle Estate 18th July! – they do a tasty pre-show supper as well if you’d prefer to leave the picnic hamper at home for a change!
