Photography Tender Call

Miracle Theatre is inviting photographers to tender for our 2026 summer touring season.

Based in Cornwall, Miracle Theatre is the longest-standing touring theatre company in the South-West. For over 47 years we have been creating and touring original productions, bringing high-quality outdoor theatre to communities across Cornwall and beyond. Each summer we commission photography to capture rehearsals and performances. These images play a vital role in marketing each production, selling future performances, supporting funding bids and building our archive.

We are looking for a photographer who understands live performance, can work confidently in outdoor environments.

We are looking to capture:

• Rehearsals in early May
• A collection of production shots

You should expect fast-moving outdoor performances, changing light conditions and unpredictable weather. Images should feel warm, lively and atmospheric.

We are seeking a mixture of:

• Action shots during performances
• Rehearsal and behind-the-scenes images
• A mix of portrait and landscape formats

We expect approximately 15 to 25 strong, usable images per production phase (rehearsals, dress, performance).

Images will be used across (but not limited to):

• Website and social media
• E-newsletters and printed programmes
• Press and publicity
• Volunteer recruitment
• Marketing for future tour bookings
• Funding applications
• Long-term archive

Usage will be for print and digital, will include perpetual, non-exclusive UK and international rights, with appropriate photographer credit.

Deliverables

• Edited high-resolution images suitable for print and digital
• JPEG and/or TIFF formats
• Delivery via shared drive, WeTransfer or online gallery
• Timescale for delivery to be agreed in advance, often with short deadlines.

• A link to your portfolio
• Your day rate and any package pricing
• Availability across May to July 2026
• Proof of public liability insurance
• Any relevant experience with theatre, outdoor events or performance photography
