We all love a Christmas panto – oh yes we do – so when Visit Cornwall was invited to see one of the first performances of the Miracle Theatre’s, Cinderella, we couldn’t wait for curtains up. Here’s what we thought…The Fairy Godmother’s glam new frock has always been something of a game changer for our favourite fairy-tale princess, Cinderella, but who knew what a revolution the genius Miracle Theatre could have on her rags to riches tale (well, except for Miracle Theatre’s legion of fans). Writer Bill Scott has turned the story of Cinderella on its head, spun it around and sprinkled a liberal helping of Miracle charm.

Which other company would stage a traditional panto but as produced by cack-handed 19th century repertory players?Everything about this show is a joy – from the Victorian staging of Cinderella to the "play within a play" knockabout humour which reaches hysterical levels of farce, but without the ludicrous aspects of that genre; from the engaging use of music by 17th century composer Henry Purcell to the gifted cast.

Polgoon Vineyard and Orchard has announced that is working with Miracle Theatre in the run up to this festive season.
This December, Miracle Theatre take up a special residency at Princess Pavilion, Falmouth, turns back the clock 150 years and invite you all to experience the undiluted joy of a magical, musical pantomime – Cinderella, the world’s favourite rags to riches fairy tale.
To celebrate Miracle’s new Christmas production, Polgoon has created a limited label for its wonderful Sparkling Raspberry Aval, perfectly named ‘Miracle Fizz’.
We’re thrilled to bits with the collaboration, said Miracle’s Emma Gibson,’ this is a very special season for us, we’re over the moon be able to offer people something light, fruity and full of giggles even before the curtain goes up!’
